Dr. S. Nageswara Rao the proprietor of Om Suriyadev Siddha Vaidhya Salai is an expert alchemist, who studied under thiru Dr. V.Devarajan an excellent guru, whose family practiced traditional siddha practice for more than ten generations. Dr. S. Nageswara Rao studied under thiru Dr. V. Devarajan for about 12 years and has been practicing medicine for more than 25 years. He is a registered TCHP recognized by Voluntary Certification Scheme for Traditional Community Healthcare Providers (VCS-TCHP) under the Quality Council of India at Panavila, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala – 695001.

On November 2013, he has acquired the qualifying requirements for doctor of philosophy (siddha), a PhD specializing on HIV.

He had obtained a diploma in naturopathy & yogic science in 1999 and also obtained a certificate from Madurai Kamaraj University on herbal medicine. In the year 2003, he had obtained a degree on Doctor of Medicine (MDAcu) in acupuncture. He has done a 3 year master diploma on Siddha Medicine and Science (MDSMS) in Bharat Sevak Samaj which is a national development agency, promoted by the government of India.

He is also specialized in treating chronic and acute diseases and importantly he is an expert in curing psoriasis, various kidney problems and pcods using herbal medicine.

He is specialized in Guru Marunthu (thurusuchunnam, i.e. universal solvent). Based the 18 Siddhars basic systems, BARPAM, CHUNNAM, CHENDURAM, MUPPU, RASAMANI, NAVA BHASHANA KATTU, (statue etc.) are prepared using metals, minerals, arsenic and therapeutic actions.
